Please verify that your insurance plan includes outpatient counseling services.
Most insurances do not cover couples or marriage counseling.
For out-of-network insurances, I will gladly provide you with receipts that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Remember your health insurance is a contract between you and your insurer. Therefore, you are responsible for payment of services rendered regardless if and what amount your insurance company pays.
Some plans require pre-authorization.
My current self-pay rate is $60 for a one-hour individual, couples, or family counseling session.
$25 late cancellation/missed appointment fee.
Payment is due at the time of the session. Cash, check, debit and credit cards are accepted for payment.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Twenty-four (24) hour notification is an expected courtesy to the counselor who is reserving time for you and to other clients who are waiting to schedule appointments. A 24-advance notice for canceled appointments is appreciated. The advance notice is standard in our profession. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment without notice, it is considered a missed appointment, and you will be responsible for the late cancellation.
If you do miss an appointment without 24-hour notification, you will be charged the late cancellation fee. Insurance plans do not pay for such charges. Payment for the missed session must be timely or we cannot continue to schedule appointments.
