Qualifications & Counseling Approach
My counseling approach is supportive and values active listening. The counseling techniques are solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and biblical-based. I am a Christian counselor focusing on Christ, supporting the local church, and helping His people reflect the image of God. Principles and methods adapted from the Christian-based cognitive approach “Misbelief Therapy” are incorporated in most of my sessions.
In 2013 I received personalized training in parenting and children’s behavioral health from America’s most respected parenting and child behavior expert John Rosemond. You can learn more about his ministry and receive his valuable resources on his websites. He is the only family psychologist on Ben Carson’s approved medical coalition.
I routinely participate in continuing education and sharpen my skills and competency by studying under the most credible professionals, psychologists, and spiritual leaders in the field today.
